1. Who we are

This website, godstoneconsultech.in, is run by Godstone Consultech (Godstone Consultech Services), a manpower consultancy with its registered office at No. 5 Ashtalakshmi Avenue, 1st Street, Pallikaranai, Chennai – 600100. For the personal data collected through this website, we decide why and how it is used, which makes us the Data Fiduciary under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (the “DPDP Act”).

Contact for anything in this policy: info@godstoneconsultech.in or +91 860 850 6800.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers personal data you give us through this website: the enquiry and requirement forms on our pages, the lead forms on our calculators, the contact page and the “Asha” chat assistant.

It does not cover the employment records of people we employ or deploy (those are handled under the appointment terms and statutory records they receive when they join), or other websites we link to.

3. The personal data we collect

Website analytics (Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity)How the website is used: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and time on page, device and browser type, approximate location (country or city), whether you sent an enquiry or tapped a call or WhatsApp button (without the details you entered), and anonymised recordings of page sessions. Text typed into form fields is masked and is not capturedTo find and fix problems with the website and improve its pages

The salary, PF, gratuity and cost calculators work entirely in your browser. The figures you type into them are not sent to us unless you also fill in the calculator's enquiry form.

We do not ask for Aadhaar, PAN, bank details, health information or other documents through this website. If a job or engagement goes ahead, any documents are collected separately, for that purpose, with your consent.

4. How we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and follow up on it.
  • For employers: to understand the requirement and send proposals, rate cards and service information you asked for.
  • For job seekers: to match you with suitable openings. We share your details with a prospective employer only for a specific opening and after telling you.
  • To keep a record of enquiries and prevent spam, misuse and fraud.
  • To meet legal obligations, and to establish or defend legal claims.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use it for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. We will send marketing messages only if you have agreed to receive them, and you can opt out at any time.

5. Legal basis

We process your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit a form or send a chat message, which is always for the specific purpose described at that point, and, where it applies, on the legitimate uses permitted by Section 7 of the DPDP Act, for example where you voluntarily share data for a stated purpose, or for employment-related purposes.

The Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 bring the DPDP Act's obligations into force in phases up to May 2027. Until those obligations apply, we also follow the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

6. Who we share it with

  • Service providers who process data for us, under our instructions: our form-delivery service (Web3Forms), which emails each enquiry to our inbox; our database provider (Supabase), which stores enquiry records; Google, which provides the Google Analytics service, and Microsoft, which provides the Clarity service, for website analytics; our website hosting provider; and our email provider.
  • Prospective employers, for job seekers only, as described above.
  • Government authorities, courts or regulators where the law requires it.

Nobody else receives your data, and we never sell it.

7. Where your data is stored

Some of our service providers may store or process data on servers outside India. The DPDP Act permits such transfers except to countries the Central Government restricts by notification, and we will follow any such restriction.

8. How long we keep it

  • Employer enquiries: up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless we enter into a contract, in which case the records are kept for as long as the contract and the law require.
  • Job-seeker details: up to 12 months after you last contact us, unless you are placed or ask us to delete them sooner.
  • Server logs: for as long as our host keeps them for security purposes.

After that, data is deleted or anonymised, unless a law requires us to keep it longer.

9. How we protect it

The website is served over HTTPS. The form on our website can only add new enquiries to our database; it cannot read, change or delete existing records. Access to enquiries is limited to the people at Godstone who need it to respond. We filter spam submissions automatically.

No system is perfectly secure. If a personal data breach affects you, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the law requires.

10. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we have used it;
  • correct, complete or update it;
  • erase it, where we no longer need it for the purpose you gave it for or to meet a legal obligation;
  • withdraw your consent, which is as easy as giving it (for example, by emailing us), although this does not affect processing already done;
  • nominate another person to exercise these rights if you die or become incapable of doing so.

To exercise any of these rights or to raise a grievance, email info@godstoneconsultech.in or call +91 860 850 6800. We may need to confirm your identity first. We will respond as soon as we can and within the time the law allows. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

11. Cookies and browser storage

We do not use advertising cookies. We use two analytics services to understand how visitors use the website, so we can fix problems and improve our pages:

  • Google Analytics, which sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to count visits and measure which pages lead to enquiries. Google processes this data under its privacy policy; you can opt out with Google's browser add-on.
  • Microsoft Clarity, which sets cookies such as _clck and _clsk and records how pages are used, with text you type into forms masked. Microsoft processes this data under its privacy statement.

We do not use these services to identify you or for advertising, and the contact details you send through our forms are never passed to them.

You can block or delete these cookies in your browser settings, or use a browser or extension that blocks analytics. The website works fully without them.

The website also stores two small items in your own browser:

  • the progress of your conversation with the chat assistant, which is cleared when you close the browser tab;
  • any enquiry that could not be sent because of a connection problem, so it can be retried automatically on your next visit; it is removed once it has been sent.

Our fonts and images are served from our own website.

12. Children

This website is meant for employers and for job seekers aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us their details, please contact us and we will delete them.

13. A warning about recruitment fraud

Godstone Consultech never asks job seekers to pay for a job, registration, training or a uniform, and never asks for OTPs, card details or bank passwords. If you receive such a request in our name, do not respond: call us on +91 860 850 6800 and report it at 1930 or cybercrime.gov.in.

14. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when our practices or the law change, and post the new version on this page with a new effective date. Where a change materially affects how we use data you have already given us, we will tell you.

Effective 30 September 2026; last updated 4 October 2026. Godstone Consultech, No. 5 Ashtalakshmi Avenue, 1st Street, Pallikaranai, Chennai – 600100.
